General

Detail Drawing Manager (Draw Details) Dialog is the entry point to generate the detail drawings for selected stories with selected options.

Dialog is composed of 4 parts:
  1. Storeys : Select stories to be generated
  2. Detailing Types : Select the types of the details to be drawn.
  3. Detailing Options : Select the preferred options for each type of detail by highlighting them.
  4. Common Options : These setting can be found in all "Draw Details" dialogue. The common options allow to insert Sheet (Title block), quantity table, model info and adjust scale of drawing.
  5. Other Options : These options acts as drawing default setting and will inherit to other Draw Details Dialogue (ie. Form Plans, Column Application Plans and etc.)

Common Options

This option will shows in all "Draw Details" dialogue. 
The options tick in this common option will be vary when different "Details Type" is selected.
  1. Insert Quantity Table : Checking this option, the quantity table will be inserted and shown when detail drawing were drawn. 
  2. Insert Model Info : Checking this option, the model info used to create the project in ProtaStructure will be inserted and shown when detail drawing were drawn. The model info includes:
    1. Design Codes
    2. Soil Parameters
    3. Material Properties
  3. Insert To Sheet : Checking this option, all details drawn will be inserted to a sheet (Title block). 
  4. Sheet : Click this button to select your preferred sheet (titleblock). The project info can be set in "ProtaStructure" pulldown menu > Project Header.
    Alternatively, user can attach the project title block into ProtaDetails outside of the program by going to "Documents" > "ProtaLib" > "Sheets" > Paste the title block in DXF format here
    (also known as: C:\Users\[Username]\Documents\ProtaLib\Sheets).
    After this, in ProtaDetails go to "Detail Library" > "Sheets" to open the title block.  
  5. Generate Sheet List : This option will be active only when "Insert To Sheet" option is checked. By checking this option, sheet list will be generated after the drawings were drawn. The sheet list will shows auto generated sheet info:
    1. Sheet Number
    2. Sheet Name
  6. Scale : Set the preferred drawing scale. The scale cannot be changed after the drawing has drawn. To change the scale, the drawing has to be redrawn.

Other Options

Draw On Separate Files : This options allows the drawing to be separate in different file with corresponding file name. When this option is checked, only the "Draw Each Storey On a Separate File" will be active in all the "Draw Details" dialogue. 
Insert To Sheet : This "Insert To Sheet" option is acted as the default option. If this option is checked here, it will reflects to the "Common Options" in all "Draw Details" dialogue for all different detailing type.
Draw Sheet Side by Side : This option is to allows all sheets to be drawn and arranged horizontally regardless of detail types. If this option is unchecked, only the drawing sheets with same detail types will be drawn horizontally, drawings sheets with different detail types will be arranged vertically. The "Insert To Sheet" option must be checked in "Other Options" in order to be active.
Generate Sheet List : This "Generate Sheet List" option is acted as the default option. If this option is checked here, it will reflects to the "Common Options" in all "Draw Details" dialogue for all different detailing type. The "Insert To Sheet" option must be checked in "Other Options" in order to be active.
