How to Filter Parts and Assemblies in ProtaSteel 2024
For a typical steel
project, the number of different parts can increase significantly, and it is easy
to lose track of the components. Now with the new version, you can filter parts
with their assigned prefixes and numbers so that you can see where they are
used. In order to take advantage of this feature, you should perform the
numbering first. For this purpose, you should go to the “Drawings & Reports”
tab and utilize the “Perform Numbering” command. Then, all you need to do is to
check the prefix and number of a member and filter all the members with the
same prefix and number.
Below video, you can
see this process step-by-step.
