You can save the macro settings as "Presets" thus creating your own company standards. Any number of macro presets can be created and saved for later use in other projects. Presets can be created for all macro types. Preset property is a useful connection design tool which has provide easily and quickly create a connection.
How to use Macro Presets?
Create a connection with a macro and change the macro properties. You can open the macro properties with double click on the macro symbol or select a member of connection and press "M" and follow by "ENTER". After changing the geometric parameters, click "Macro Preset" tab and select "Save" button.
Give a preset name that you can distinguish easily.
For example, use the columns and beam section names as IPE300-HEA300.
Create a connection in the other node with macro. Open the macro properties and go to "Macro Presets" tab.
Then select the previously saved macro preset and click "Load"and"Apply" buttons.
Property of the macro presets can be change to create a new preset with "Save As" button.
Macro presets can be delete with "Delete" button.
