Subbasement walls are usually considered as a part of the foundation and provide support for the infills on the ground storey and contains the fill on the foundation. ProtaStructure 2026 enables the users to model these walls on foundation level and optionally consider them in the analysis.

Like subbasement walls, subbasement beams and slabs are also considered as a part of the foundation. They are usually built on top of the fill contained by subbasement walls. Subbasement slabs are reinforced by mesh reinforcement. ProtaStructure now enables you to model these beams and slabs as a part of the foundation and mesh them compatibly with neighboring members.
