
| Concrete and formwork quantity estimations can be created at any time, either by clicking on the “Quantity Extraction Tables” icon, or by using the related menu selection under the "Drawings and Reports" ribbon

Using these options, related quantity estimations can be viewed, edited, printed and (depending on the table chosen) the information can be exported to PDF, MS Words, Image or Web.
Pick "Quantity Extraction Tables" icon from Drawings & Reports tab > Dialog will be shown as below
Choose "Concrete Quantity Extractions Table" option > "Calculate" button.
A summary report tabulating the total amount of concrete used in the building, grouped by concrete grade (as shown below)
The total volume of concrete used in columns, beams, slabs & foundation element is displayed respectively for each storey separately.
In addition to the concrete breakdown, the total volume of filler blocks used in ribbed slabs is also calculated and displayed.
A detailed breakdown of the concrete quantities can then be obtained using the "Report" button.
When the "Formwork Quantity Table” is selected a summary report tabulating the total area of formwork required for the building can be created using the "Create Report" button.
The total area of formwork used in columns, beams and slabs is displayed respectively for each storey separately. (refer to the figure below)
A detailed breakdown of the formwork quantities can then be obtained using the "Report" button.
Steel Quantity Table
This function is only available for ProtaStructure 2026 & later.
This generate the quantity table for steel member (as below)
Click Report to generate the proper report.
Sheeting Quantity Table
This function is only available since ProtaStructure 2026 & later.
This generates the sheeting / deck profile quantity table for composite slab.
Click Report to generate the proper report.
Shear Stud Quantity Table
This function is only available since ProtaStructure 2026 & later.
This generates the shear studs quantity table for composite slab.
Click Report to generate the proper report.
