Drawings Settings

Drawing Settings

Drawing Settings affects the drawings generated in ProtaDetails such as scales, label settings and etc.
It is a good practice to check and preset the settings before generating drawings to save time on manual modification in the later stage.

Scales

Scales of drawing can be adjusted in this tab.

  1. Drawing : This controls the drawing sheet / titleblock size. Content/Detailed drawing within the sheet is recommended to have the same scale with the drawing (Coeff. = 1) to have similar scale measurement if possible.
    1. If the drawing consists of multiple detail drawing with different scales compare to the drawing scale, user may need to label the scale for each of the detail drawing under it manually in the sheet. Drawing scale can be removed manually in this case.

  2. Coeff. : ratio of drawing scale / detail drawing scale.
Please also take note that quantity table & Model info table will follow the scale of drawing.
If the text in the table is very small, this can be adjusted the text size in the layer setting based on the name given in the snapshot below.

For example, to adjust the text for form of bar, go to Settings > Layers and Text Styles > Section > change the Section Small Text size to larger value (mm). Adjust other text if necessary in the layer accordingly. For more information, please refer to our article Layer and Color Settings

Always redraw/generate the drawing to have a proper and neat quantity table after adjusting the layers.

Rebar
